Your privacy matters. CVRadar is designed so that your resume never leaves your device.
Your resume stays in your browser
All resume analysis is performed locally in your web browser using JavaScript. The text you paste or the file you upload is processed on your own device and is never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers. When you close the tab, that data is gone.
Information we do and don't collect
- Resume content & job descriptions: processed only in your browser; never collected by us.
- Unlock status: a single flag is stored in your browser's local storage to remember that you purchased the Full Report on that device. It contains no personal data.
- Payment information: when you purchase the Full Report, payment is handled entirely by our payment provider, Gumroad. We never see or store your card details. Gumroad collects the information needed to process the transaction and applicable taxes under its own privacy policy.
- Basic analytics & hosting logs: our host (Netlify) may collect standard, aggregated technical data such as page requests and approximate region for security and performance. This is not used to identify you.
Cookies
CVRadar itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our payment provider may set cookies necessary to process a purchase securely.
Third parties
We rely on a small number of service providers: Netlify (website hosting), Gumroad (payment processing as merchant of record), and Cloudflare CDN (delivering the in-browser PDF reader library). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
Because we do not store your resume or personal data, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on the resume side. For payment-related data, you may contact Gumroad or us to exercise your rights under applicable data-protection law.
